Packaging Quality Control from Specification to Shipment
Clear specifications, practical production checks, and packing review before delivery.
Daipak’s quality control process begins before production. We first confirm product specifications, material requirements, packing methods, and order details with the customer.
During production, our team checks key dimensions, appearance, material condition, structure, sealing, printing, and packing requirements according to the confirmed order.
Before shipment, finished products, carton quantities, labels, packing methods, and loading preparation are reviewed to reduce avoidable misunderstandings and delivery issues.

What Quality Control Means at Daipak
Quality control is not limited to a final inspection. It begins with clear specifications and continues through production, packing, and shipment preparation.
Our Quality Control Process
A five-stage review process helps connect customer requirements with production, finished products, and delivery preparation.
What We Check Before Delivery
Inspection items vary by product, but the following details are commonly reviewed before packing and shipment.
Dimensions and Tolerances
Length, width, height, thickness, diameter, cavity size, and other confirmed measurements.
Material and Appearance
Material type, density, color, transparency, surface condition, odor, and visible defects.
Structure and Function
Cutting, sealing, bonding, folding, cushioning, positioning, opening, closure, and product fit.
Printing and Labels
Printed content, logo position, color, barcode, carton marks, and label information.
Quantity and Packing
Unit quantity, inner packing, carton quantity, packing method, and carton dimensions.
Shipment Preparation
Pallet condition, carton arrangement, loading protection, shipping marks, and delivery information.
Quality Checks for Different Packaging Products
Different packaging materials require different inspection priorities. We focus on the details that affect product fit, protection, packing, and shipment performance.
Bubble Wrap & Air Cushion Packaging
Bubble wrap and air cushion products are mainly used for cushioning, wrapping, void filling, and fragile product protection. We check the material structure and packing condition to make sure the products are suitable for shipping and storage use.
Key Checks:
Bubble size, roll width, bag size, sealing, air retention, appearance, packing quantity, and carton packing.
EPE Foam Packaging
EPE foam packaging is often used for surface protection, cushioning, separation, and custom protective inserts. We check foam thickness, density, cutting accuracy, lamination, and packing method according to the product application.
Key Checks:
Foam thickness, density, sheet size, roll width, cutting shape, lamination, adhesive backing, cushioning structure, and packing method.
Plastic Bags & Film Packaging
Plastic bags and film products need stable size, sealing, thickness, and packing consistency. We check the film condition, bag structure, opening style, printing, and carton labels before shipment.
Key Checks:
Bag size, film thickness, sealing strength, printing, opening style, roll width, transparency, packing quantity, and carton labels.
Corrugated Boxes
Corrugated boxes are used for product packing, shipping, storage, and outer carton protection. We check carton size, board structure, cutting, printing, folding lines, and carton marks to support stable packing and delivery.
Key Checks:
Carton size, board type, folding line, printing, cutting, opening style, edge condition, packing quantity, and carton marks.
Confirm Specifications Before Production
Many production issues can be reduced when product details and packing requirements are confirmed before manufacturing begins.
Before production, we recommend confirming the following information in writing, through drawings, approved samples, or order specifications.
Practical Inspection During Production
Inspection methods depend on the packaging material, production process, order quantity, and confirmed customer requirements.
Our team may use measurement tools, visual checks, approved samples, drawings, production records, and packing instructions to review key details during production.
Packing Review Before Shipment
Before shipment, packing condition is important for bulk packaging orders. We check packing method, carton marks, labels, palletizing, loading preparation, and order information according to confirmed requirements.
Shipping & Delivery SupportClear Standards Help Reduce Misunderstandings
Packaging quality depends on clear and measurable requirements.
Terms such as “thick,” “strong,” “high quality,” or “export standard” may be understood differently by different buyers and suppliers. Whenever possible, requirements should be confirmed through dimensions, material specifications, drawings, approved samples, inspection criteria, and packing instructions.
Clear confirmation before production helps reduce specification differences, repeated sampling, production delays, and avoidable disputes.
Quality Control Support
Inspection is conducted according to product type, order requirements, production process, and agreed inspection criteria.
